Kraken Marketing was founded in April 2020 by Lyssa-Fêe Crump after a decade of working in-house with Cornish companies. She saw a need for an Agile agency that took a data-driven approach to marketing tech companies.
She wanted to help them discover their brand identity and explore why their customers need them, so they can forge real, lasting connections.
Lyssa-Fêe Crump, Founder of Kraken Marketing said:
“There are so many amazing tech companies in Cornwall, and we love helping them level up. Often, brands mistake being boring with being professional – and we want to help them say no to vanilla! Being brave and being authentic helps you build better relationships with your customers and ultimately earns you more revenue.”
Their customers have found their bold approach refreshing and effective, leading to an incredibly successful first year of business.
Last week, as they celebrated their first birthday it was announced that they were shortlisted for the Start-Up of the Year at the South West Business Awards. These prestigious awards recognise and celebrate businesses that have made an outstanding contribution to the region.
James Phipps, Chairman of Excalibur Group and renowned Entrepreneur was part of the judging panel and said:
“Judging this year’s awards was tough. Every entry was of a very high standard and each one was unique which made the decision harder. I’m very proud of the quality of businesses that we have in this region and these awards give them the true recognition that they deserve.”
