Cornwall Trade and Investment and The Department for International Trade are inviting agri exporters located in Cornwall to join a two-day Trade Mission to the National Ploughing Championships on 19th and 20th September 2022, which is the largest outdoor agricultural event in Europe attended by over 300,000 people.
Geographical proximity to the UK, a common language, close cultural and economic links, as well as numerous excellent transport connections by sea and air, make Ireland an ideal target market for exporters. Business practices, laws, systems of finance and broader culture are also very similar to the UK.
This is a great opportunity for new exporters to explore their potential in the Irish market and make new business connections. The Irish agricultural sector is one of the primary sectors in the country and offers many opportunities for innovative companies.
The focus of this mission is to provide the opportunity for agri and agritech businesses located in Cornwall to attend the largest outdoor agricultural trade show in Ireland, in order to explore new opportunities for exporting to Ireland.
