Cornwall’s mining history is legendary. But the most significant opportunities lie ahead.
If you’re looking to invest in high-tech metal exploration, Cornwall has a wealth of potential. The region’s outstanding natural environment is one of the most highly mineralised areas in the UK. There’s an abundance of high-grade lithium, tin, copper and tungsten ready to be mined here – in one of the most stable mining environments in the world. This, along with its world-class china clay operations and rich history of mining, quarrying and mineral processing, makes Cornwall a prime location for the exploration and extraction of technology metals to meet the increasing global demand, fuelling a cleaner, greener future.
On June 10th – in association with Cornwall House and the G7 Summit – an event will be premiered showcasing a range of live investment opportunities in Cornwall’s mining companies. Featuring businesses who are leading the way in environmentally responsible mineral exploration and extraction – for the metals that are crucial to future energy demands, and a more sustainable future.
Presented by Mike King, Managing Director, Cornwall Development Company, and Darryn Quayle, Mining Engineer at the Department for International Trade.
Presented by Lord Grimstone of Boscobel Kt, Minister for Investment Department for International Trade & Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
